Typically, whenever you open the Control Panel, you will see a variety of different settings pages or options.
It is actually possible specific settings pages from within the Control Panel. Sometimes, such a feature cannot only be a great security feature, but can also restrict a user’s movements to a great. This hidden Windows feature can be made active by simply following the steps below:
Step-1 Open the Windows Registry.
Step-2 Scroll to the below Registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Step-3 Within the Explorer key, on the side panel create a new DWORD value called DisallowCpl and give it a data value of 1.
Step-4 In the left panel, within the Explorer key, create a new key called DisallowCpl.
Step-4 In the right panel, within the DisallowCpl key, create a new string value for each of the Control Panel pages that want to disable or remove. In each case, the value Name and the Value Data should be the name of the Control Page settings page that you want to disallow or remove from the Control Panel page. For example, in the below example I want to remove the Mouse settings page from the Control Panel.
Step-5 Exit the Windows Registry. You might have to restart the Windows session for the changes to come into effect. Now, if you open the Control Panel, the Mouse Settings page will not show up!

It is also possible to remove specific Control Panel settings pages by following steps below:
1. Open the C:\Windows\System32 folder
2. Search for .cpl files in that folder. Each CPL file represents a different Settings page that appears in the Control Panel window.
3. Now delete any CPL file of your choice and the respective Control Pane Settings page will no longer appear in the Control Panel window.
