Normally it is possible for users to lock their computer by pressing the Windows key and L key together. However, if you are a system administrator, you can easily stop users from locking their computer with the help of a simple Windows Registry trick:

Step-1 Open the Windows Registry.

Step-2 Browse to the following Registry key below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Sofrware\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Step-3 Create a new DWORD entry named DisableLockWorkstation that can be used to prevent users from locking machines accidentally or intentionally. Set its value to 1 to disable the option and to 0 to enable the option.

Step-4 Exit the Windows Registry. You may have to restart the Windows session for the changes to come into effect.
