The Task Manager can normally be accessed by right clicking the Task Bar and selecting the Task Manager option from the pop up menu. However, for security reasons it makes sense to disable the Task Manager. This can be done easily with the help of a simple Windows Registry trick:

Step-1 Open the Windows Registry by typing regedit.exe in the search box that comes up when you click on the Start Orb Button.
Step-2 Browse to the registry key below:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Step-3 In the right panel create a new DWORD value called DisableTaskMgr and give it a value of 1 to disable the Task Manager and a value of 0 to enable the Taskbar.
Step-4 You may need to restart Windows for the changes to be implemented.
