In the latest version of Windows (vista and 7), Microsoft has got rid of the Recycle Bin and Control Panel from My Computer. Although this makes My Computer a lot more clutter-free, many users still prefer to have the Recycle Bin and Control Panel in My Computer.
This can easily be done by implementing the below Registry tweak:
Step-1 Open the Window Registry by typing regedit in the search box in the Start menu.
Step-2 Navigate to the below registry hive:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
Step-3 Now right click on it and Select NEW>KEY.
Step-4 The name that you give to the key will depend on what you wish to add to My Computer.
