Normally, each time a password-protected Windows screensaver runs on a system it will ask the user to only enter the correct screensaver password to unlock the system. In other words, the user account derails are not authenticated each time the system has to be unlocked. It is always a good security feature to force Windows to ask for the login authentication from the user again in such situations in order to prevent impersonation, identity attacks, etc. This additional security feature can be enabled by simply following the below steps:

Step-1 Open the Windows Registry file.

Step-2 Browse to the following Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Step-3 In the right panel, create a new DWORD value, ForceUnlockLogon and set its data value to 1 to enable the re-login process, and to 0 to disable it.
