I really like the built-in Windows Search option that comes with Microsoft Windows 7. It is really fast and gives fantastic results. However, just in case you want to disable the built-in Windows Search option, then it is possible to do so by following the steps below:

Step-1 Open the Control panel.

Step-2 Open the Programs and Features option.

Step-3 In the left panel, click on the Turn Windows Features On or off to open a window which will allow you to enable or disable a number of Windows options, including the Search option.
